Decided on Rockport,and headed towards the south west side and saw a couple groups out. i punched a hole and id say 2.5'-3'' clear ice. caught one perch off the bat and two 19'' chunky bows and it went dead so i moved out 10 more feet in the water column and did not move till the frenzy ended, caught over 50 if not more and kept 28 9-13'' perch and 4 chunky bows that were 2-3 pounds. all in all it was a great start to the year!
