Deer Creek ice this year?

With the warm weather forecast for the of the week and with it being about 3 1/2 feet from being full i wouldn't count on much safe ice this year.

If anyone lives by deer creek and can let me know if I boat can launch from the island ramp Thursday, i will pull up there friday morning to go trolling.

Does anyone know if the deer creek gate up by the island is up before 8am or is it down until the park officially opens? I am trying to launch the boat before the sun rises. Thanks in advance!
