Paragonah (Red Creek) Ice off
#1
I went to Paragonah reservoir about 2 weeks ago for ice off. I tried using my usual white tube jig with chub for the first part of the day and caught a nice cutthroat and female tiger. I then swithced to my fly rod with a red and black woolybugger and caught about 4 or 5 in a row around 10 or 11 in the morning. A couple of them were really pretty males! I then cooked up for of them and feasted. Here is the video!

Thumbs Up
Thanks for nice video.

It brought back some fond memories.  I haven't fished it since the fire but I knew the DWR had put some tigers and cutthroats back in there.  The last time I fished Paragonah was in the fall of 2013 and there were pretty much just naturally reproducing rainbows in there.  Wish I lived closer to that little pond.
