Thats from a Willey song. But this is some scarry times. We lost one of my favorite singer/songwriters John Prine to this stuff. We have to all be extra carefull. When I get back to Idaho, from fishing another state, (like as in Utah) I am suposed to self isolate for two weeks. It won't be to hard because i live alone. But I want to come back and forth from Blackfoot to Lincoln Beach. So I guess I will have to break my governers rules. Can you keep 6 foot apart on a boat? Would netting someones fish be a violation? Do any of you wear the mask? There were two people with covid-19 here in Bingham County, ID three or four weeks ago. They both got it from travel overseas. And there has been no new cases. But i wear a mask when I go to the store anyway.

I might have put this in the off topic slot. However, it is mainley a fishining question. And something we might ott to address.

Yep, very scary times indeed. Also lost Joe Diffie, one of my favorite singers to the virus. Wonder if he's Propped up against the Juke Box as one of his songs suggested. But hopefully to answer your question, I believe if you travel to another state you're supposed to self quarantine for 2 weeks and do the same upon returning. A couple of people in a boat can socially distance for the most part, but you're only supposed to have members of your household in the boat. Not sure anyone would really check on that unless there was a complaint and then there may be some repercussions. I see some people have actually been ticketed for having yard sales or not following social distancing guidelines, but I'm guessing they're more interested in education than tickets, so unless you're a persistent offender probably just get a warning. Hope this helps a bit Randy

That's exactly how I figured it Lyle. I'm going down to Utah Lake tomorrow. I'm going to leave my boat and camper in Spanish Fork, Utah. And come and go until the end of May. Then hit Henry's for the opening Memorial weekend.

I've been tempted to try two in a boat but I know we would get closer than 6'. I was going to take my son out (it didn't work out) but we more or less live together. We wear our masks when we go out but see a lot of people at the stores who don't. When we were going into Walmart my wife overheard a woman say, "All these people with their f-ing masks on!" I guess this is just going to be a good test of Darwin's theory. The dummies who won't take it seriously will be more likely to die. The Sad part is that they will also take some innocent people with them.

My dil made us all masks and my son fashioned nose grippers out of pop can strips. Mine doesn't fit very well so I like to use my turkey-hunting face mask. It doesn't trap my breath and mist up my glasses. Anyway, let's all just do our best to stay safe and protect others, too.

Hope to see you when you are at Lincoln Beach. Wll you be staying in the campground there?
The older I get the more I would rather be considered a good man than a good fisherman.
