Strawberry cuts are pigs

Hit the berry yesterday (5/28) for Kokes.  Had a tough morning and only managed to boat 2 by noon then we found a school and limited out in by 1.  Had one double hook up - that was fun.  In the mean time could hardly keep the cuts off the rigs, stopped counting at 30. Had a pretty crazy thing happen.  I was stacking my downriggers 15 feet between lines and had a cut take both lines on the starboard side.  He was hooked solid in the mouth with both rigs...

That cutt is caught up with the pandemic panic. We shop for TP, it shops for lures.  Rolleyes I have seen this once before trolling for trout catching a catfish from my boat and a friend in another boat caught same catfish, a double hookup.

Nicely done. We tried yesterday and I think the weather front stalled things a bit. Started on the SC side. My buddy caught a couple, right near the surface. We got a few Cutts on our boat and moved to the main lake side. We picked up a couple of nice Kokes and a lot of fat Cutts. Overall a pretty slow Kokanee day. Last year, May was a great month for us.
