Sand Hollow season finale
#1
Buddy & I went south for a 3-dayer.  Arrived Thur and fished from 10-4pm.  Got one here/one there, mostly drop-shotting & Carolina Rigging
off that community hump, over 35-42'.  Gorgeous 80-deg air, but could have used some more wind.  Got our wish Friday morn, yanking most of our day's catch along those steep rocks to the north of the ramp all the way to the dam.  4" grubs the ticket until 10am-ish, when the bite died.  Fished until noon on Saturday, with spinnerbaits working until the bite once gain died around 10.  Water a consistent 67-68.  Decent finale to a
good open-water season.  Put the boat to bed for the winter.

Sounds like you had a really nice finale ahead of this cold front that dropped in across the state.  Not sure yet, but we too are hoping to get another run in before ice up but with the yardwork and some food preserving that we need to accomplish not sure we'll be able to get again.
