UL state park
#1
Went out to the state park and fish from 3pm to 5:30pm.  There were lots of fishermen fishing on the docks and everyone is catching fish (mostly white bass).  I got a couple nice perch and 3/4 full bucket of white bass. Ice is about 4” thick, and many people standing on the ice fishing.[Image: D7653467-FC91-4-B57-8322-773737-AC0742.jpg]

That is a nice perch for Utah Lake. I rarely see a 10"-er.

Thanks for the report and the pictures. Everything seems healthy this year at UL. The cats were bigger the whites were bigger and fatter. Makes sense the perch might have had a good growth year too! I just hope we get enough snow to keep the water level up for another year!

If the water stays up in 2021, I think we will see 13-14” perch next winter.

Well, then.   Good to know.

I've caught perch from UL for years and years, and I've only had a couple break 10.
