Causey drive-by
#1
I took a drive up to Causey today to check out the conditions.  Open water around the edges but the cap itself is at least 8 inches according to the one fisherman I talked to.  Air temp was 37*.   He said the fishing was very slow for him today.  I asked and he said he saw one set of ATV tracks and one set of tracks without ski marks indicating it was probably made by a Snowdog.  Roads are bare of snow leading up to and on the dam.  The dirt road leading back to the Causey Estates gate was snow packed most of the way as was the parking lot back there.  Probably saw three dozen vehicles parked up at Causey.

Fished it today for a few hours. Not many fish on the graph. I did get 1 bite 1 fish. I was trying for kokes. Edges are soft but you can get on the ice.

I took a quad out 2 days ago. 6 to 8 inch's. More in the middle arm where the sun doesn't shine. Iced 10 little rainbows, 1 little cutthroat between two guys.
