Flaming Gorge Utah Side

I am head for a few days at Fg next week, planning on fishing the Utah side near sheep creek but haven't seen any reports. Has anyone heard of how people have done for kokes in the area? Prefer not having to make long runs north or load the boat up. Thanks

It’s been slow from the friends I have fishing there. Hideout was holding a few but they were small, red cliffs were a waste of time, generally just not great fishing. Hope you do better than everyone I’m talking with.

Fished up by Buckboard over the weekend and it was slow. We would catch a few early and then nothing the rest of the morning. Many boats and even the guides were not busy catching.

It was sparse throughout the week. It took awhile to find some consistent groups, best was right outside the bouy line at hideout and the large bend between Lucerne and horseshoe canyon. Funny enough tue smaller kokanee seems to be mixed in with the larger ones. Usually they are pretty consistent size but it was a mixed bag.
