Left the house about 6:30 and was  fishing from my kayak by seven this morning. Made it all the way to the mouth of the marina before my first double of the day. Then it got better.  Never counted but i'd guess six or seven doubles and a whole bunch of singles.  Worked back and forth in 9 to 13 FOW  off eagle beach.  Went through a bag of chicken and a bag of cut sucker meat dragging behind the kayak on Santee rigs at .5 mph. Put up with the dang jet skiers until I ran out of baits.  All fish caught were kitties and kissed on the lips and released for another day. Home and ready for lunch then a nap but 11:30.  Not a bad way to spend a summer morning.  Rocky, the SS Rocky is still fishing well.

I'm delighted to hear it, Larry. It's hard to beat that silent motion; fish don't flee due to boat noise.

OK, if you kiss that many kitties, your whiskers will get slimly.  LOL
