I know. Just having a little fun. While the boat you're in can make fishing easier, good fisherman will catch fish no matter what they are floating in. I've seen the opposite happen quite often too- bad fisherman in a tricked out fishing machine with an empty livewell.

Great report. Them wipers are a ball to catch. Most that know me, know i got my handle from trolling 5 mph ay Willard. I would throttle back with a big one on.

Do you catch many walleye at 5MPH up there?

I would catch a few walleye. When I turn or throttle down with a wiper on.

I thought 5MPH was a bit fast for walleye.  I knew a guy who would routinely troll for tiger musky at that speed up at Pineview in the Fall. We troll 7MPH for albacore.
