We hit Jordanelle right before sunrise on Saturday 10/26. It was hot and heavy until about 9:30. We couldn't keep our gear in the water for a while with 15-16" rainbows, a small kokanee and a nice 18" brown.
We were off the water by 10:00 and headed home for soccer. But, it was a great morning to be out.

nice job at Jordy! it was a beautiful day to be out, I tried to hit DC but ended up with a dead trolling motor battery and tried to slow troll with the big motor but couldnt stay under 2.5 mph. We let the breeze slowly push us around but it wasnt the same, called it after about 2 hours. It killed me because I know the fishing would have been fire if I could do it right. Feels like I pissed a perfect fishing day away.

Them fall browns can sure show off the colors. Was yours showing spawning colors?
Remember: keep the lid on the worms, share your jerky, and stop by to say hi to Cookie and the Cowboy-Pirate crew

Not really. It has some nice red spots, but it was still fairly pale. I'm sure she was just shy.
