Second trip with the new boat today.  I was thinking about Rockport, but two friends called and talked me into Echo instead.  I took my son-in-law.  Arrived at 8 AM to 47*F.  The water was 58*F.  We started fishing about 8:45 AM.  Fished until 1 PM.  We caught about 20 trout and kept 6 at 15” to 18”.  Boat ran fine.  I’ve used the 24v Minn Kota Ulterra with 2 lithium batteries (140 aH) now for about 8 hours.  Batteries are sitting at 70%.  I should be getting 5 or 6 trips before needing to charge them.  I will charge when they get down to 20%.

Crank battery with main motor off ran all electronics except the trolling motor for 5 hours and never got below 12.3 v.

Obligatory fish porn follows.
