Forgive me if this is a dumb question but I am not familiar with salmon and their migratory and spawning habits. I am planning on heading to oregon or washington soon and was wondering if Idaho might now be an option as well. We just want to catch some nice salmon.

There is some limited Chinook salmon fishing in Idaho.
Many years there hasn't been an open season for chinook salmon in Idaho because the numbers have been too low but there is a season this year.
