Stateline Res. (North Slope Uintas)
#1
Directions - From Mountain View, Wyoming.
Go south from Mountain View on the paved road towards
Robertson (not towards Lonetree). At the second 90o
bend to the west (about 5 miles from Mountain View),
leave the highway, continuing south on a gravel road that
becomes FS-072. The reservoir is just across the Utah
state line.

Fish Species - Brook Trout, Cutthroat Trout, Kokanee salmon, Mountain Sucker , Mountain Whitefish, Rainbow Trout, and Sculpins.

Other Wildlife - Mule Deer, Elk, Moose, Snowshoe Hare, and a lot of others.

Tactics - Bobber & a worm/powerbait/salmon eggs has caught me a lot of rainbows, worm & marshmellow on the bottom has also been productive, and probably flies & spinners would work also.

Elevation - 9,163 Feet
Surface Area - 288 Acres
Maximum Depth - 128 Feet
Average Depth - 48.6 Feet

Other Info - The lake offers fishing, boating and hiking. The water is too cold for most swimmers (C'mon Be Hardcore). There is an unimproved boat ramp adjacent to the campground and fishing is popular. Stateline Reservoir Campground has running water and pit outhouses. There are also several other campgrounds in the vicinity, a few lakes (with good fishing), and the East Fork Smith Fork river. Please keep these mountains beautiful and don't litter!
