Lost Creek

We drove up to Lost Creek Reservoir after work on Friday after reports of good fishing. We fished from shore on the East side by the dam. I hooked two nice bows on consecutive casts in the first 5 minutes of fishing - both about 16". I was using Orange Sparkle power bait. Then the fishing turned off and nothing for the next 2 hours. About 9:00 p.m. the fish started biting again. The person I was with caught 4 fish on rainbow power bait in the next 1/2 hour. I had two bites and managed to hook one but lost it trying to net it.

There was no [size 1]pressure[/size] up there. I saw maybe 8 other fishermen that night. It was very pretty up there. The water was calm.

Welcome to the website. I have heard that the water level is really low. Did you see any boats on the water?

Thanks! Yes the water was low but higher than I expected. (Not saying much though)

I thought I heard a boat motor but never saw a boat though.
