Are there any Steelhead Junkies out there?

I need some help getting started on becoming a Steelhead Junkie!


I want to start next Spring. I want to spin and Flyfish these pigs....


I know what kind of hardware to use, but as far as flies and Lures go. I wouldn't even know where to start!


If anyone is willing to share. It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time!

Elk,

There are alot of different types of flies, spinners, corky's that work. I spend alot of time in Idaho going after these bad boys with my fly rod, I have found alot of different things that work, but, for the most part Showgirls, popcicles, and egg patterns has produced more for me than any other pattern.

Do you tie up those patterns yourself? I never herd of a "Showgirl" pattern before!
