Creamy Pork

[ul][li]1/4-1/2 cup onion, chopped [li]3 cloves garlic, minced or 3/4 tsp garlic powder [li]2 tart green apples, peeled, cored and sliced [li]2 tsp sugar [li]1/2 tsp sage [li]1/4 tsp nutmeg [li]1/8 tsp white pepper [li]2 to 2-1/2 lbs boneless pork loin, trimmed and cut into 1 inch cubes [li]1/4 cup all purpose flour [li]1/2 c white cooking wine [li]1-1/2 tbs cornstarch [li]1/3 c whipping cream [li]salt to taste [/li][/ul]In Crock Pot combine onion, garlic, apples, sugar, sage, pepper. coat pork with flour and put on top of mixture. Pour in wine. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hrs or high 4-5 hours. Mix cornstarch and whipping cream into small bowl. Pour into pork mixture about 15 mins before you want to serve. If Crock Pot is on low, turn to high. Cook til bubbly! Season with salt. Serve with cornmeal biscuits!
