Deer Creek Report 3-27-05
#1
[green][size 2]Air temp was 50 degrees at noon. 57 degrees at 3:00pm. Water temperature was a toastie 41. Water is high(we now have an island). I almost went up the river, but I decided driving fast was more fun. A smallie flashed on my jig/pig, this was the only fish I saw. Some survey dude said there was a couple troutski's caught, but overall exercising old muscles and old engines was the feature of the day.

Good news to hear the water is really coming up. I think it will be really good for the small gamefish to be able to spawn in all of the new brush that has grown around the lake during the drought. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise!

How did the Gunship perform?

Over 65 mph against the winds? Yikes... don't you have a rear view mirror to keep an eye out for those lakeway cops?[Tongue]
