Is it foggy at Bear Lake?
#1
Ever wonder what the weather is like up at Bear Lake? Take a web cam look from Bridgerland Village down to Garden City at http://www.cut.net/billy/3.jpg On a clear day you can usually even tell if it's iced over.

I see it gets dark there around the same clock time as it dose here in michingan.

Is this cam by a ramp? I saw a light in the dark when I hit refresh it was gone. it is dificult to see any thing in the dark.

Thats a Kool trick when dose it shut down, the cam that is?

I'd like to have that feature on my lake to see when the other anglers start pulling in them walleyes on the ice I always see them leaving with.

how well will this cam hold up in the snow and Ice?

Or is this some thing you found on the net and dont know much about it?

I have been concidering getting one but wanted to talk to some one who had one before I make the leap.

The cam is set up under the eve of a house that belongs to a tele-communications guy. His house is right on the road that overlooks the lake as you head down to Garden City from Logan Canyon. Obviously it can take the cold; it's been there for a couple years and it is protected from the snow and ice by the overhanging eve of the house. It's right next to the front porch. The only thing with the cam is you don't know if you're looking at fog or low clouds because the cam is pretty high on the hill. It's still a pretty cool view to check out.
