My uncle and some of his friends want me to take them fishing this thurs. and they would like to get into some walleye, but want to be close to utah valley. I am wondering a few things, 1. If we go to deer creek how has it been and what has been working well? 2. should I try and talk them into hitting willard and how has it been this week? Or 3. should I hit jordanelle and bag the walleye and try for some smallies, perch, and trout? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated,

Drive the extra hour to Starvation if you want walleyes. They are plentiful and easy to catch [but small]. Isn't Willard further away than Starvation [from Utah Valley]?

willard is actually a little closer and easier to fish, but starvation is a lot of fun too. As it ended up our boat cancelled on us so now I am trying to decide what I want to do as far as fishing goes. I am thinking i will try and hit the afternoon bite somewhere, but am not sure. I do have a pontoon, but no boat now,
