Ok, so it was a baby (19 in) but it was a tiger musky.[crazy] Caught him while smallie fishing on a Maniac reaper in my tube, as usual. Interesting thing was it didn't fight as good as a 11 in smallie, but it was a tiger and I had my problems retrieving my bass lure. Got a small punture in my finger from his gigantic teeth but nothing significant. I'm ready to try to land and release something bigger from my tube now,[sly]
Tried Maniac's reapers and they worked every bit as well as my others, if not better. Caught about 20 in 4 1/2 hrs, all on reapers, weedless again, the largest 2 about 15 in. Fished the same area and wasn't bothered by any uneducated boaters or "Sparky lovers". Sparky tried to help me with the tiger and the largest smallies again but I wouldn't let him. Did lose a big guy in the weeds.
