Thanks Davetclown,

were I am we don't freeze over so we don't do any ice fishing here. Over here it is known as the wet coast not the west coast, but at least it drains away and we don't have to shovel it. You can check our location on the [#333366]http://www.frappr.com/bftbunch[/#333366] [black]check the location as far west as you can go in Canada.[/black]
[black][/black]
[black]As far as the fish in the picture the smaller ones on the left are between 15 to 25 lbs the ones on the right are 36 and 39 lbs. There were some smaller coho we got as well and also release other fish too.[/black]

We will be starting up our season around April 15, will get some fishing reports posted.

Can see some other pictures here http://www.wildpacificcharters.com/fish/index.htm

[cool] Seems like a pretty quiet board here, is it always this slow? Don't people know we have excellent salmon and halibut fishing available with drive in access.... I know a lot of people think we live in igloos, I don't, we are a few steps up from there. Actually in a house with indoor plumbing too.

With being coast to coast now we will have to attach a line with lots of hooks and snag up some more fish [pirate]

we have an avid fly fisherman on thunder bay on the north side of lake superior, dose he count?

he is an angler and not a charter or guide.

[Smile] Sure he counts, he fishes and would probably like to fly fish for some northern coho as well, ranging upto 20 plus pounds.

we have a lot of guys here who chase after them with fly rods.

Hey add a little more line so it goes north of 60. That way you can fight in to some northern fish.[Wink]
The weather is finally coming around up here, although there has been ice for a few months, there was alot of overflow and spider holes. Making it interesting when going fishing.
I've added a pic of our last fishing trip, slow day we only got 5 trout and a mess of Jacks.[inline Trout.jpg]

Hey Snags Alot,

Hope the name doesn't indicate the fishing methods?[Wink]

If you're in Quis-Pam, do you do any fishing for trout or salmon in the area?

I'm a life member of the Hammond River Anglers.

I lived in Gondola Pt A LONNNNNG time ago.

Fished the Hammond River for many years.

Now I fish for Walleyes in the Bay of Quinte

If you join the HRAA and come across Geoff Giffin, tell him you were talking to me on the web.

wont be long now, the melt is comming fast.... I can already launch a boat from my end, just have to watch out for drifting chunkers...

I am surprised you dont target st clair or the detroit river.

Another Canuck, I've been lurking around for a little bit. Manitoba is my fishing hole. Just found the Canadian Fishing board. May 13 opening day, got my tackle restocked, line re-spooled, license re-bought, and ready to hit the water at 12:00 AM.
