Cisco Update Thursday 1/19
#1
[black]The cisco schools are getting larger and the half-dozen or so anglers at Cisco Beach this morning were able to dip limits of fish in about 1/2 hour of time. It helps if you bring a fishing rod with a lure (tube jig without weight/hooks is best) to "lure" the cisco in towards your net. You can dip a limit while your buddy jigs. Then switch and let your buddy dip their limit. DO NOT DIP TWO LIMITS (one for your kid/buddy and one for yourself). This constitutes "party fishing" and is illegal! Remember it is easy to go over your limit so keep count! Limits will be strictly enforced! Bring waders, it helps to get you closer to water and keep you dry. [#ff40a0]Dipping conditons are easily affected by weather, so if it is windy, don't expect the fish to be close to shore and easy to dip. It will almost be impossible to catch fish with waves washing in.[/#ff40a0][/black]

Thanks for the update Scott. Yesterday you said there was 4 inches of snow on the East side, is there more snow now?
How does the parking lot look as far as parking at Cisco beach goes. Thanks again for the info.

Garden City received approximately 8" of snow and the east side about 4" total. It never snowed over here after about noon yesterday.
