ARIZONA YOUTH HONORED AT THE BILLFISH FOUNDATION'S

[size 1]MIAMI BEACH, FL. - The Billfish Foundation (TBF) today honored an Arizona

resident for his efforts in conserving the billfish species throughout the 2006 competition year. Jacob Pearcy was recognized for his catch and release efforts while offshore fishing. Pearcy won awards as the Overall Tagging Youth Angler and the Top Tagging Youth Anger in the 9- and 10-year- old age group. Pearcy was presented with his awards at the Miami Beach Rod & Reel Club on Friday, February 16, 2007. He currently resides in Oro Valley, Arizona.

"The success of TBF relies heavily on the active participation in our tag and release efforts by today's youth," Ellen Peel, President of TBF, said. "Tonight, we honor Jacob Pearcy for his tagging efforts and highlight him as an example to our next generation of conservation minded anglers."
