reelfoot lake report
#1
bluegill biteing crickets, wax worms, and small jigs red and chart, and small roostertails.catching your limit should be easy around swain basin and blue basin. crappie are hitting red and chart, black and chart, black and white, and chart split tail jigs, and minnows and small single bladed spinners in blue ,yellow, white, and chart. bass are hitting lizards, plugs, and deep diveing lures, best with shad colors or blue.catfish are hitting worms, jigs, liver, crawdads, shrimp, and minnows.best times are early morning and late afternoon for all but catfish which bite all day and night. I recommend slow trooling or drift fishing for the crappie and the lillypads for bass, bluegill around the stumps and sandy banks.
