11/10 East Canyon
#1
Took my three boys to East Canyon on Saturday. I didn't take the boat so they could play on the bank. We arrived at about 9:30 a.m. and fished until 12:30. The fishing was slow for the first 2 hours. We had numerous bites, or marshmallow stealers we would call them. They would take the marshmallow and leave the piece of crawler and not come back. I think they were small. It did pick up the last hour with all fish caught during that time. We ended up with six rainbows, 5 of which were over 13", the biggest being 15". The other was a small 9 incher, (bait stealer size). All were caught on worm and marshmallow, with pink mallows being the fish favorite. Most of fish had anchorworm scars but they still made a great fish dinner on Sunday.

Glad to see that you were able to bring some fish home to the table.

Nice pic Dan but the mods are gonna nail ya. Did you catch that one recently?

PDS, glad you had some luck even though the fish weren't monsters. How low is it now?

It's really low. I haven't seen it this low for quite a few years. Still some boats on the water and you can still launch if you want to.
