Oneida narrows
#1
Would like to do a little walleye fishing. I hear Oneida Narrows is the place closes to me to try. I grew up fishing walleyes on the great lakes and so am familar with some of the teqhniques used. Was thinking of fishing at night and drifting crawlers with spinners. Any ideas what one might do down there to land a few wide eyes?

[ol][li]The rock ledges ( snag city) and possibly up river where Cottonwood creek dumps in. That place is certainly a hit and miss for walleye and more of the miss than hit.[/li][li]Always have done better a month earlier than now.[/li][li]Early did OK on shad raps- the great lakes techniques are ok but the crawler rig picks up a lot of carp. Can't help it though there are a million of them. [/li][/ol]
