Are the long skinny ones the only ones that have fish or do the ones in Lake Point near the on/off ramps have them also?

I know there are fish in the smaller ones by the Rest Area, but I have also wondered if there are any in the large one at the end of 21st S freeway. It looks like it probably belongs to Kenecott, and also looks shallow, but I have seen what appears to be surface activity on numerous occasions, and if there are fish in there they are probably quite large.

That does belong to kennecott so I'm not even sure if you could fish there. I didnt think there was supposed to be any fish in that one but maybe there is.

I commute that way to and from work everyday. Last summer I regularly saw guys in float tubes fishing the pond on the North side of I-80 near the rest stop. This summer I only saw them once or twice. I regularly see lots of surface activity and there are always tons of bugs in that area so the feeding must be good.

Yeah maybe we'll have to stop there on the way home one of these nights, Gunter

Might be a good time to hit it. If the moss has subsided the remaining fish could be on the hunt. Hopefully most fishers have forgotten about them for the year and you will do well.

All the ponds north of I-80 is Kennecott and the fish have a lot of heavy metal in them and should not be used as table fair at all...
