Pasadena Fly Show

[#008000][Image: sad.gif]While I always find this show interesting many companies were obvious by their absence. Such as Orvis, Sage,Thomas & Thomas, G Loomis, Winston, Redington, St Croix, Outcast, Rio to name a few. I guess that they couldn't justify the expenses involved that it takes to participate. Anyone been to a show this year & find similar results? Maybe the industry needs a stimulus package. Yea - right.[/#008000]

I heard they were not at the Dallas Fly Fishing Show. .... Most of the Manufacturers were not there. But they had not intention cause they had a tiff with the owners of the Dallas Fly Fishing Show (these guys do a number of shows accross the US) so they created their own show which did not work out well for them so they formed an affiliation with the International Sportsman's Exposition.

That is why most of the Manufacturer's were not at a fishing show because they now tour with the ISE.

I don't know how that is working for them.

The few comments I have seen on the forums is that people were not impressed some disappointed.
