Clearwater Steelhead
#1
Steelhead fishing on the Clearwater has improved considerably in the past couple of weeks. The demand for power generation in the west has resulted in increased discharge from Dworshak Dam which has warmed the water to near 40 deg. The fish that have remained in the lower reaches of the drainage are now moving into the main river system from Lewiston to Orofino, fish are responding well to plugs, drifting and bobber/shrimp presentations throughout the system.
