I just had time for a very short trip with Polo this AM for bass. He invited me to accompany him for some topwater action. I had to quit by 8:30 because of a prior commitment. The topwater bite didn't materialize, but we did manage to catch about 4 bass on worms and lizards off a deep water point. With only 4 fish plus a couple of long distance releases, emoBig
Polo said to heck with this bass fishing. Let&#39;s go crappie fish. I only had 15 minutes by that time. We ran quickly to a nearby dock and caught 3 quickly and I lost another one right at the boat before we had to run. <br /><br />Thanks for inviting me this AM, Mark. There will be better mornings and I would like to be with you when they arrive. Now I get the pleasure of helping Hal and Mrs Hal cook some fish for his welding students for lunch today. emoBig emoGeezer
