Beautiful morning, started out at 7:00am and headed to dam for a drift. Water was perfect, with just enough water moving to catch fish. We hooked up all morning on blues on just about every drift in 3 to 5 pound range and caught several nice smallies, with Johns best being a nice 4.5 pounder. We hooked up with two monster cats on light tackle but they broke off quickly. Highlight was Johns light tackle catch of a 15lb drum at the wall, which was all over the place. About 12:30pm the horns blew and the water came fourth with gusto. Caught several spots on the wall on shakey heads and worms and moved down stream to locate several more for Saturday. Quit at 6:00pm hot and ready for a shower.
