East Canyon 6/27

JMIG and I fished East Canyon on the P-Boats from 10:00 - 14:30. Got 5 Bows, no size, average about 13". JMIG was using sinking fly line with a Bugger, then Muddler, he got....let me add them up....none. I got them on, you guessed it, Meat, Lead, Hook. Used a Red and White tube tipped with a worm and got four. Switched to a green metal flake What-a-Cricket and got one more. Fished inside the bouy line near the inlet, between the big rock and the point. We will be up again in the A.M, since we both screwed up on a big fish a piece. We'll be on GRMS channel 1 sub 3. Hard to take the VHF on the P-Boat. Lots of real boats on the water, don't know how they did.

I have fished East Canyon alot from shore and I have found the best time is just as the sun sets. I have had alot of luck floating a worm with a mallow
