We started out watching those crazies go by in the barely lit boat in the dark and then we headed down to the mouth of Chickamauga Creek and Andrew alternated between a white spinnerbait and a jig, and i used a spook which got absolutely no action whatsoever. We started working our way down the downriver side of the mouth and we each picked up a small spot on a spinnerbait and then I started alternating a worm and a spinnerbait and Andrew the same as before. We ran up to the dam for a minute after that and I caught 2 white bass and Andrew caught 1 white so we left there and headed down to Williams Island and I caught our first keeper there on the white spinnerbait and then it was just slow slow slow, though we both missed alot of bites, they would just take the tail of my worm. We may have caught 8 or 9 fish after that with 1 big drum and about a 3.5 pound spot that broke Andrews spinnerbait as he tried to hoist it in the boat. I caught no more keepers, just a few shorts and Andrew caught one more keeper down past Williams Island and at about 12 we ran up to see what the current was doing at the dam and I caught one small spot on a worm and Andrew caught our last keeper on the white spinnerbait over near the dam ramp. We had 5 point something to end a frustrating day but heck we were fishing so it was still a good day.
