hi all fished AFBH from my tube today got on the water about 7 AM caught 2 LMB of the south dike and a white bass off the west bank first white bass i've caught in months left about 930 when a stiff wind started blowing from the west

[cool]This low water has the fish befuddled. Normally the inside would be full of white bass and largies this time of year.

Sounds like you are doing well enough to keep you interested in tubin'. You should try going right at daybreak and tossing a buzzbait. That can be some serious fun. Another good tactic, when the bass are shallow around structure, is to toss a floating jointed Rapala. Fish it like a popper. Cast it and let it just sit there until the ripples quit. Then give it a little twitch or wiggle. Keep it in the same area for a couple of minutes. When old Mr. Largejaws gets turned on, he will smash it. It's surprising how many other kinds of fish will hit a topwater Rapala too...even cats.

Have you tried pulling a large plastic swimbait on a light head? That can work well too. If you sometimes drop it to the bottom and just let it stay motionless, bass will sometimes pick it up and move off with it. You have to watch your line.
