Sulphur Creek Resevoir Ice

Took a drive out to Sulphur Creek Resevoir yesterday, walked out about 50 to 60 yards and drilled a couple holes in different spots. Ice is 3 to 4" thick. I didn't fish any but I would say it is about safe to get on. I heard rumblings that they may have the ice fishing derby again this year but it may just be rumor.

I hope they do. I heard some rumors as well. I drove out there the other day and it was 2in. Froze quick. Probably have to go out there today and give it a shot.
