current UL ice thickness?

Hey guys I wanna hit the old pond this weekend on the ice but wanna make sure its safe ice? any current reports from the last day or so? Thanks!

Ice today was at around 2 inches and melting. There was plenty of water on top of the ice today. It was drier yesterday but it sure got warm today quick.

The thickness will vary depending on where you go. I bet the pumphouse ice is thicker than most since the temps have been colder on that side of the lake and it is sheltered from wind. Ice on the east side in the harbors was as much as 3 inches but with the warming temps it was slush-a-riffic yesterday. The rain may severely impact things as well so be careful.
