I have been unable to locate spikes for sale anywhere yet this winter. Has anyone found any in the Ogden or Logan areas for sale? I really prefer them over meal or wax worms.

If you are interested I know a great site that will ship spikes to you. The place is in Wisconsin but you can buy them in bulk and keep them all winter long and you can pretty much get any color you want. Shoot me a PM if you want the info. The spikes are cheap but the shipping is a little more just so they can guarantee you get them quickly since they are alive.

Can you just give us the link here so everyone can have it? It is not against BFT rules.

Here you go, I wasn't sure if it was allowed to post on here or not. I have ordered these before and they are great like I said the shipping is a little pricy though. [signature]

Maybe call first to make sure. The one in Orem had Spikes, Mealies, Giant Mealies, Crickets, Super Worms, Crawlers. Best prices too. 100 count giant mealies for 5 bucks.

Correctomundo, as Fonzie would say, regarding the $hipping co$t. A bunch of us BFTers interested in these colored spikes should go in on a bulk order every December, meet somewhere, pay for your share, & split 'em up when they arrive. Only way to go. I'm in.

I am game to go in on an order with someone, I usally order about 2000 and have some left over at the end of the year. It usually only takes a couple of days from the time of order until they show up depending on what time of day you order. To answer the question about what are spikes.........they are dirty little maggots. Good fishing to everyone.
