Rockport 2/ 24
#1
Went to Rockport yesterday and fished about 100 yards out from the boat ramp. We started about 7:30 and fished until the storm arrived about 1 pm. We set up in 40 feet , but most of the fish we caught were about 12 to 17 feet down. The sonar screen would be blank for awhile, then a few would swim by and we would get bites, then they would go away again. Not really fast action, but we got 13 or 14 through the ice between two of us. All the fish we caught were 13 to15in. Edges were good and around 14 to 15 in of good ice. Maybe 5 in of snow on the ice, but that may have changed last night.

Way to be go with the fishing in the weather. What kind of trout is that? It doesn't look like the normal rainbows I am used to seeing.
