EAST CANYON ICE

So I heard that East Canyon is capped with ice. Does anyone know if this is true or not?

it may be capped i was there last week and taylor hollow was open the inlet had a little ice but it was far from safe with open water out about 300 yards

Was there on Sunday, fishing was good in the arms where it is starting to freeze, the main body is still wide open.

went there friday night only saw small patches of ice

According to the DNR, yesterday it still had open water. see link.

Heard there is a large section of open water midway between the end point of Taylor's Hallow and the dam.

Ice in Taylor's Hallow may be fishable. But if there are large sections of open water I would be very careful!!
