Gator, Chick, Crappie & Bass, 2/27/12, Labman

Last night I called Labman to see if he had any fishing plans for Monday and he said he wanted to go so we met about 10:30 am at CFSP to try and find "something" that would bite.<br />We fished mostly for bass but the bass didn't want to bite much today. Only caught 1 bass on a green finese worm about 12-13 in. long all day. <br /><br /> We tried to fish water from about 5 to 15 ft. deep concentrating on the shallower water but it just didn't happen today. We spent some time on a dock and a couple crappie areas but only caught a few, 6 throwbacks and 1 keeper crappie along with a couple bluegill was out days catch. But, it was a beautiful day to be on the water and THANKS AGAIN Norman for a nice trip today. We'll do better some other time. Water temps were in mid 50's. No pics today.<br /><br />We ran into Polo & Drum King fishing together and also saw Ditch Dock too. Lots of boats on the water for a Monday...............hmmmmmmmm must be somebody catching. emoScratch
