Took a buddy out for alttile crappie fishing, he said he had not done much crappie fishing before so i thougth i would teach him the ways of the kid and the king. (thanks guys) right off the bat had problems getting the motor started, my ignition switch was on the frits. We started out fishing right off the channel on a flat varying from 2-15 ft. caught alot of small ones in the more shallow water and more of the keeper size in closer to 6-12 ft. I tried real shallow in solugh no luck, decided i would try out my motor again and it worked! Got out on the river again and fished some blowdows off the main channel. I seen schools of minnows in the 20&#43; ft areas and in those areas i had my best luck in the 8-12ft, some in as low as 6ft. Most caught with BG chartruse mo glow colors and 1/16th pink heads. Ended up with 15 keepers and caught probably 50&#43; with the smallies included. It was a beautiful day and since my switch went out we took us a nice 2hr troll back to the dock. Some were caught with slow retrieve most were just letting it float with the current, big ones hit it well while the smaller were very easy to miss. I&#39;ve been an avid fan of this board for a couple of years now, i hope maybe my post can help out, i know yours helps me. Im going to try to start reporting here on out. Take care and good luck! oh yea. biggest was 14 1/2 had 3- 13 several 11 and 12in.<br /> -Nick Greene
