<br /> Fished on Chick today from s/l till 1:30pm. Started back in the back of coves and pockets at day light. We could see several bigger bass busting bait at day lite in 6 inches or less of water. Couldn&#39;t get them to touch any thing. We tried traps,chatter baits, jerk baits, jigs. Carolina lizards, spooks, and Sammy&#39;s. I did have one boil on a Sammy about 8:30am. <br /> after catching nothing we moved out of the coves to the channel&#39;s. Fished flats. points, humps, ect. nothing again. All in all a really tuff day. Finally caught one 2.5 pounders at 11:30am back in cove we stated in and that was it for the day.....Didn&#39;t see anyone else catching bass either... <br /> Water temp was 63 to 65 ......pulling water till around 10:00am then the water stated backing up.......sorry not much help for you but it was a tuff day......
