I am wondering what the sonar actually sees the fish or part of a fish. I have something about it sees the air bladder.

Here is a picture I took. I am sorry because it I should have taken the camera off the oar to take the picture. This picture is raw sonar of a sturgeon. Ron

[#500000]The captains of the bigger outfitters that run sophisticated sonars will tell you they are not really looking for fish. They are looking at habitat and channels of known migrations etc., until they find the fish.[/#500000]
[#500000]However, in the meantime, If they see a large school of fish they will certainly mark and go back through it.[/#500000]
