My buddy Lucas and I took off from wolftever ramp at 6:15 am. Started out on some shallow grass. About Lucas's 4th cast I here him say "Oh Yeah". I looked back and he had a 5lb 1 oz'er jumping about 4' out of the water. That was the highlight of the day. After fishing there for a couple of hours with no more luck we decided to hit a hump or 2 out off the river channel. We fished there for a while but nothing. Then we went to some more shallow grass and caught a 3 lb 1 oz'er and a couple of shorts. The biggest one and two shorts came on soft plastics t-rigged and the 3-1 came on a chatterbait. Not alot of fish but we had fun trying anyways.
