Hyrum 8-8 evening
#1
OK Yote here the story Jeff promised you. Hit the south side of Hyrum dam and it was constant action. Perchies, perchies, perchies and some mud bugs. I only kept 3 10-11 inchers for the wifes fish tacos, lots and lots of 6 inchers. The master perch slayer that you are I expect a stringer full picture. The dogs had a lot of fun chasing the ones I tossed back and the Gulls. The level reported is 27% of capacity. Gonna sneak away from work?

Hey I'm guessing that was you I saw last night then. I should have came over and say hi. I've haven't met anyone from BFT in person yet. I was the guy fishing just west of you.

Were you the one with wife and child that I asked if you were catching anything?

Rod nice lobsters man they are good sized. Let us know how the boil turned out. Glad you found some fun and good eats. So ya think Yote will make it over tonight or will the company keep him home this weekend? They are nice sized perch I bet I could even fillet enough to eat off them before I got tired of cleaning fish. Good job. Later J

I'm so torn - so much water, so little time!

I seriously need to take a run for the border, but then there's the final weeks of the Cat-Contest. Plus - the Kokanee itch! But I like Fall at Hyrum and Newton - now this Hyrum talk has me thinnin' - then shouldn't there be boils down at Willard?

so were the mudbugs from traps, or just grabbing your worms?

Thanks for the report.

I hear ya on too little time to do it all. Guess we just have to do what we can and be glad we got the time to do it. Myself I want a White Pine trip a Gorge trip and I'd like to go after wiper again plus I need to try the cats again and I have a farm and family that needs to see me sometime so it's not all going to happen but it's been a great year anyway. Good luck on picking the best stuff. Later J

They grab the worm and won't let go if you reel slow enough.
