Kids first deer

Thought I would share my boys first deer. He had a late start on shooting his bow as he broke his arm to end the school year and then messed up a finger. Got him healthy and all but ready to go and he wrecks his bike the monday before the hunt. They can't tell if his foot is broken or not so it is wrapped up all week and him on crutches. Friday they put it into one of those stiff shoes and tell him to take it easy. Well that wasn't going to happen so we tapped it up with camo duct tape and hit the hills the next morning. Second round of tape and on the way to another area we spot this little buck and he bails out and goes after it. One shot of 37 yards and he has his first buck. Hit a little far back but due to the uphill angle it clips the spinal cord and drops.
