the ice on the berry is not safe yet not even in the bays the llake is about 70 % of the way caped and no real good spots to bank fish

I fished on some decent ice (3 inches of ice and an inch of frozen slush) a couple days ago at the berry. It was very slow and we didn't feel like moving around to find them because there wasn't much ice.

Thanks for the update. We just did an early Christmas present unwrapping as the kids will all be with the other parent this year. Wife opened her new ice fishing rod. She is stoked to head out to the berry again and give it a try.

What bay did u find 3 inches of ice in?

there was one spot where some walk 20 feet out on the solider creek side but not much ice and you could tell they walked the edge whemt strait out drilled ome hole and came strait back
