My Lost Creek Report
#1
[#800000]I made my first trip ever to Lost Creek Reservoir with a boat. I’ve been on it a couple of times during ice fishing season but never on the soft deck. It was just another beautiful day in paradise. The air temperatures were in the high 60s, and the wind was mild. Water temp was in the high 50s. The water level is down about 25 feet I’m guessing. We fished from about 10 AM until 3 PM.[/#800000]

[#800000]While the fishing was first rate, the catching left a little to be desired. We managed to boat 3 trout. We had about half a dozen more hits and actually picked up the rods and felt the fish before it spit the hook. All three fish boated were taken on surface trolled Rapalas - #5F & #7F in rainbow, brown, and perch colors. We also had lines down at 20 to 30 feet off D/R using about 8 or 9 different combinations but couldn't hook ‘em and get ‘em to the boat.[/#800000]

[#800000]The tree fish we caught were all below the slot with the longest being 14". It was a very restful, peaceful day on the water and an absolute joy to not have to contend with ski boats and jet skies. [angelic][/#800000]
